THE NEW BEGINNING
NEW BEGINNING
All the glory, Honor, Praise and Adoration be to Jesus, our reigning king, for his mercies that endured forever, having kept us through the year 2009, and he gave us the opportunity for a new beginning in the year 2010.
Brethren, this month have been declared the month of NEW BEGINNING, be expectant , because the hand of the Lord is about to give you a change of story and a new phase is about to happen in the history of your life. Join me as we enter into the month of New Beginning.
New Beginning denotes new Phase, New dawn. It can also mean new thing or new story to tell.
Literally, it means there was an old story, experience, scenario, and phase which may be unpleasant and uninteresting just as the scripture says in the book of John 9vs 1-27
The man in the text as a case study as an old story to tell. There was an uninteresting story in his life “BLINDNESS”.
The bible says he has been blind since birth i.e. he has never seen the beauty of the sun, since he was born, all he has been seeing his blackout which means there has never been anytime he set his eye on the beauty of nature : but Lo and behold he met with the king of kings, hope of glory, the joy of the world and the light of the world and he gave him a new beginning of joy, hope , light, and a new dawn of hope began in his life.(John 9 vs. 25).
How is it related to us?
1. There is always an old story to tell: it may be an unpleasant old story to tell about your academics, finances, marital or may be fear of the unknown or an unresolved situation that have persisted for a long time just like that man(John 9 vs. 1-2; He was born blind).
Jesus was asked of whom among his parents sinned or was he the one? Yes you may be asking yourself ; why am I in this mess, who sinned, could it be me or my parents, Is this how I will end my life ?, I s this not how it happened to other member of my family?, will I ever come out?, will I ever graduate with ease, is there going to be a solution at last? And all other unanswered questions you keep asking yourself. Wait a minute!, look at what you savior has to tell you: Isa 43 vs. 18-19, He says ” He will do a new thing, that you should forget about the past story”, a new beginning is about to emerge in that your situation, you are about you are about to tell a new story, a new phase is about to happen , just like that man has said in John 6 vs. 26b “All I know is that , I use to be blind but now I can see”. You too will say I don’t know how he did it, all I know is that, things have turn around for my good and now I have a good story to tell.
2. The second thing you need to know is that you should stop complaining; instead of saying why me? Say God help me. You can cry to God, he is the mechanic of our life and destiny, he knows how to repair our life.
He is the porter; we are the clay (Jer 18 vs. 1-6). He can bring message out of your mess, he can bring testimony out of your test and triumphing out of your trial.
He can start afresh with you and nobody dares question him. He has the power to break you and mould you, your situation and circumstances into the shape that will pleas him.
Instead of saying negative words, speak positively; say good things about yourself “Power of death and life lies in the tongue”. Proverbs 18 vs. 21.
Keep telling yourself that I know there will be a new beginning for me, remind yourself of the promises of God and you will see new dawn dawning on you (Job 22 vs. 29; Isa 57 vs. 19). Don’t be afraid and stop listening to the advice and suggestion of the devil, all hew has to say is FEAR ”Fake Evidence Appearing Real”, worry , disappointment and depression , so say No!, study the bible , find out the plan of God for your life and start confessing it and you will see him showing himself strong.
Finally, for new beginning to happen, there is need to acknowledge the real beginning of all beginning “JESUS” you need to pleas him, love him, serve him and honor him.
Why all these, because Matt 7 vs. 6 says “God will not waste his resources on disobedient children who are willing to listen to him”.
He has several children that re crying to him day and night, he won’t even hear the cry of the sinners (Ps 66 vs. 18). There is no how you will continue in sin and ask for grace to abound, the bible says “God forbids” Romans 6 vs. 1-2
You need to confess your sin and forsake them, start afresh even if you have backslide , his loving arm is still wide open calling on you fro reconciliation , he keeps calling on you to start afresh with you (Jer 33 vs. 25, 31 vs. 20-22).
Now, that you are ready to listen to him, sat this prayer “Lord Jesus, I come to you, pleas accept me, I know I have sinned, but I come to you, pleas let me obtain mercy, accept me as your child and I confess Jesus a my Lord and personal saviour, I will love and obey you, now in my life and forever”
Congratulations, welcome on board into the family of the Achievers and the good God will give you a welcoming gift that will be a sign to show for a new beginning indeed in Jesus name

John 3 vs 16
John 3:16 Joh 3:16
16. For God so loved, &c.--What proclamation of the Gospel has been so oft on the lips of missionaries and preachers in every age since it was first uttered? What has sent such thrilling sensations through millions of mankind? What has been honored to bring such multitudes to the feet of Christ? What to kindle in the cold and selfish breasts of mortals the fires of self-sacrificing love to mankind, as these words of transparent simplicity, yet overpowering majesty? The picture embraces several distinct compartments: "THE WORLD"--in its widest sense--ready "to perish"; the immense "LOVE OF GOD" to that perishing world, measurable only, and conceivable only, by the gift which it drew forth from Him; THE GIFT itself--"He so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son," or, in the language of Paul, "spared not His own Son" (Ro 8:32), or in that addressed to Abraham when ready to offer Isaac on the altar, "withheld not His Son, His only Son, whom He loved" (Ge 22:16); the FRUIT of this stupendous gift--not only deliverance from impending "perdition," but the bestowal of everlasting life; the MODE in which all takes effect--by "believing" on the Son. How would Nicodemus' narrow Judaism become invisible in the blaze of this Sun of righteousness seen rising on "the world" with healing in His wings! (Mal 4:2).

Sins are many times hid from the godly man's eye, though he commits them, because he is not diligent and accurate in making a search of himself, and in an impartial studying of his own ways. If any sin be hid, as Saul was behind the stuff, or as Rahab had hid the spies, unless a man be very careful to search, he shall think no sin is there where it is. Hence it is that the Scripture doth so often command that duty of searching and trying, of examining and communing with our hearts. Now what need were there of this duty, but that it is supposed many secret and subtle lusts lie lurking in our hearts, which we take no notice of? If then the godly would find out their hidden lusts, know the sins they not yet know, they must more impartially judge themselves; they must take time to survey and examine themselves; they must not in an overly and slight manner, but really and industriously look up and down as they would search for thieves; and they must again and again look into this dark corner, and that dark corner of their hearts, as the woman sought for the lost groat. This self scrutiny, and self judging, this winnowing and sifting of ourselves, is the only way to see what is chaff and what is wheat, what is mere refuse and what is enduring.
